Finally managed to find time to update my blog.
Have been a rather hectic week with tight schedules.
Mainly due to assignments of course.
Well, as much as i want to complain and groan, it pleases me to think that the only reason why things are getting tougher now is because i am in my final year of school.
Which means graduation is near.
Matter of fact, i only have about 6 more months of school, minus off the holidays and vacations.
Assignment deadlines back to back, one after another and they just keep coming and piling up.
Well, i just gotta hang in there if i want to graduate in peace. hehe.
As the title suggests, i have to start examining my thoughts very carefully.
That is a pretty broad statement.
But what i mean by that is to start making decisions more appropriately like an adult.
To think twice about certain things and to know of consequences and such.
Why? Well, reason is simple.
I feel that 18-21 is the transition period whereby teenagers grow and mature into young adults.
As young adults, most of our life decisions must be made on our own.
Because, it is our own lives after all.
We determine our future.
We can only depend on our parents and family for emotional and psychological support.
The rest, my friend, all depends on us.
It is quite frightening and scary to think about deciding our own future.
I think it is because ever since birth, we have been relying on our parents so much that sometimes, we take certain things for granted.
They decide what clothes we are, what food we eat, how much allowance to give us etc.
And to think that now we have to make such decisions ourselves, thats pretty scary.
Well, the weekends are nearing.
I can smell them already. ohhh the sweet smells of long weekends.
Tomorrow is Thursday which means my long weekends starts on thursday night itself.
Will be going to watch a concert tomorrow evening.
Performed by a Japanese band that just flew into SG a few days ago.
My previous sec school did a musical exchange with them here in SG.
And thus, prepared an official concert.
It will be at the newly renovated and refurbished VCH. Victoria Concert Hall.
Havent been there ever since it was renovated. Looking forward.
That's about it i guess.
Till next time~
